Biophilic Design – The New Standard?

Biophilic Design:

With so much focus on minimalism in interior design these days, a refreshing movement toward ‘biophilic design’ is gaining popularity every day.

Many architects and clients alike seem to be over-appreciating the concept of white space, clean lines and beauty in nothingness.  And while it is hard not to appreciate these new-aged, semi-futuristic interior spaces, it is also easy to lose sight of a core architectural design concept: blurring the lines between inside and out.

Some may think that large glass curtain-walls with views to every direction on a compass get the job done, but why not take it one step further?  Bring the environment outside into your interior space so you can see, hear, smell, and touch nature while indoors.
