Halvorson Design in collaboration with HDR Inc. is working on redeveloping the massive open plaza in front of City Hall including the Government Center train station. The vast open expanse of brick hardscape will be transformed with tree bosques and water-permeable pavers to reduce storm water runoff. Gradual slopes will replace stairs to make it a more bicycle friendly transit hub. Check out the greener future of City Hall Plaza at Halvorson Design’s website.
Cityscapes’ owner Jan Goodman introduced new members to our team yesterday morning at a fantastic breakfast social. Everyone that has been recently brought on board was introduced to each other and given an overview of what Cityscapes is all about. Team members were introduced to our mission statement and core values. Funny stories were shared, and Jan had some great advice to share with the newest Cityscapers.

Cityscapes installed Spring plantings at CBRE-One Beacon earlier this month in Boston, Massachusetts. One Beacon is a platinum level LEED certified building. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design and it is a green building certification program that recognizes best-in-class building strategies and practices. Our eye catching display at CBRE included Bellis, Pansies, Forsythia and Lamium. Happy Spring!
