With the recent release of LEED v5 in early 2025, Biophilic Design has been officially recognized as a credit under a new category titled “Connecting with Nature.” It’s an exciting development for architects, designers, and building owners—and a welcome affirmation for those of us in the plantscaping world, where we’ve long believed that nature belongs at the heart of every built environment.
At Cityscapes, this shift aligns perfectly with our mission. We’re excited to support clients and partners in bringing thoughtful, plant-forward design to life—whether it’s through lush living walls, curated green installations, or full-scale indoor gardens.

Last Friday, our team installed over 4,000 plants for the redesign of the Prudential Center Living Wall! They had been hard at work since 3am, so we surprised them with a little Dunkin’ treat! We’re all about health-conscious choices, but sometimes a donut is just what’s needed to keep the energy up! 🍩
It’s no easy feat completing a project like this by opening hours, but our hardworking operations and living walls team got the job done! Completed photos to come soon!
