Our first truck event of the season was a success! Thank you to everyone who came by today and supported @c2cboston, and to Alexandria Real Estate for hosting us in Cambridge.
We found a token of good luck hanging out in one of our plants. We’re hopeful this is a sign for a good truck season to come! 🐞🤞
We’ll be popping up in Cambridge again on Earth Day! Profits will be donated to the @mfnhcambridge. Catch us at 314 Main Street on April 22nd, from 11-3pm.

This is your sign to repot your plants for the spring!!Your plants will grow a lot this season, help them out by giving them more ~wiggle room~
Some signs your plant is due for a repot, and tips for successful transplanting:
If the grow-pot feels dense with roots, or you see roots circling around the top or coming out the bottom, it may be time to upsize your pot. We could tell it was time for this monstera because of all these reasons.
Tips for repotting:
• only go up 1-2” in pot diameter at a time to avoid root rot
• use this opportunity to check your roots
Black + mushy = overwatering
Wrinkly + deflated = underwatering
Cut off unhealthy mushy roots with clean shears
• water after repotting to help your plant establish into the new soil

In all seriousness, we LOVE answering this question.
For beginner-friendly plants, we recommend zz’s, snake plants (specifically fernwood mikados and zeylanicas), and haworthias. While they’re all technically “killable,” these plants are forgiving, drought-tolerant, and can adapt to low-light.
