How We Give Back

Sustainability at Cityscapes

Sustainability is how we operate, ensuring our efforts reflect our deep love for nature and the plants we work with every day. Through our zero-waste initiative, we are minimizing waste and building a regenerative system that aligns with our values.

Regenerative Practices: Our waste gets composted, recycled, or turned into energy — helping to power up to 340,000 homes in the region.

Efficient Logistics: We’ve reduced single-use plastics, waste-hauling costs, and implemented a grow pot return program.

Community Recycling: Local partnerships reduce transportation emissions and keep recycling solutions within our network.

By continuously refining our methods, we’re proving that sustainability drives both innovation and impact.

We follow the 7R’s of sustainability to cut waste at every stage.

Our Impact

We sort our non-organic waste to be recycled or brought to waste-to-energy facilities —90% is diverted from landfills.

We recycle up to 30 cubic yards of organic waste a week — creating enough compost each month to cover a 1/4 acre garden.

Dumpster pickups were cut by nearly three quarters at our main warehouse, resulting in reduction to vehicle emissions

Through internal sorting, 100,000+ grow pots are recycled, reused, or donated.

Giving Back to Our Community

Beyond sustainability, we take pride in serving our community through volunteer work and charitable donations. Our outreach efforts focus on making tangible, lasting contributions to organizations that share our values.

The Transplanted Plant Truck

Each week in the warmer months, our Transplanted Plant Truck pops up around the city, selling plants with a purpose. A portion of all profits is donated to local charities, helping to fund meaningful programs that serve our community.
