Our Charitable Plant Truck
A Roaming Greenhouse with a mission
We popup around the Boston area selling plants for charity. Invited by community stakeholders, we set up shop in new locations all the time. Profits from our sales on our Plant Truck go to charities chosen by our hosts.
How it works:
We are invited by businesses & property managers to set up shop on their property. Together we guarantee enough sales for a sizable donation at every popup!

Guided Plant Parties
Networking, team building, tenant appreciation and more:
Whether you’re hosting at your location or visiting our shop, we provide everything you need for a hands-on planting workshop. Guests will create their own unique designs—choose from terrariums, moss frames, or seasonal arrangements.
What to expect:
We handle the logistics, you bring the people. From setup to cleanup, we’ve got it covered. Each event kicks off with a brief, engaging overview of the benefits of plants, followed by step-by-step guidance to help everyone build a thriving, personalized creation.

Cityscapes started as a retail shop and we’ve decided to get back to our roots and open a storefront. Here’s where we curate fun and colorful specimen for the plant lover of all abilities. Let Cityscapes take care of the office, while at Sprout you’ll find goods for home.
Improving Urban Spaces with Community-forward retail
We noticed a need for meaningful third places that expand beyond transactional retail. We work with property managers and building stakeholders to creating thoughtful environments meant to be enjoyed by all. Doing so helps connect our clients with the community.

🪴 Hi, we are Transplanted! If you love plants as much as we do, you’re in the right place.
Founded in 2019 as an offshoot of @cityscapes_boston, we’ve been on a mission to give back to the community that helped us grow. Through our plant truck, we’ve raised over $90,000 dollars for local nonprofits.
We also have a plant store in downtown Boston that hosts workshops and gatherings every month. Plants have the power to bring communities together, and we’re so grateful to play our part.
For plant content, care tips, and to see where we pop up next, come follow along 🚛🌱
A combination of smart planting, strategic plant choices, and careful watering helps us prevent root rot in our Living Fernature terrarium tables.
Everything is planted on a layer of LECA (lightweight expanded clay aggregate), which helps keep the soil aerated. We choose plant varieties that are low-maintenance like haworthias and peperomias. They prefer to dry out, so watering is a breeze and leakage isn’t a concern!
Removing the glass: 😰
Actually watering it: 😌
These Living Fernature tables only need water a few times a month, making them a perfect, low-maintenance, statement piece for your office or home. A little ecosystem that practically takes care of itself (with the occasional gentle intervention).

Testimonials
The best things about working at Cityscapes is the teamwork I experience daily, the relationships I have developed, and the fact that Cityscapes really cares about their employees. We also create an atmosphere together to improve our clients lives and our mission is to inspire and innovate with beautifully designed greenery.
Managing one of Boston’s more iconic buildings is no small feat. The responsibility of up-keeping greenery that is as beautiful as the architecture around us is huge. Having Cityscapes come and design our planting beds and maintain our greenery inside and out, has made my life a breeze. I know I can count on them to perform up to my standards, while keeping everything fresh and innovative.
Brookview serves mothers and children experiencing a grueling and challenging circumstance–homelessness. Jan Goodman and her Cityscapes volunteers always lift our spirits, and make our days delightful and enjoyable. Whether they are working with the moms and kids making crafts and decorations for holidays, planting a vegetable garden, or doing exterior landscaping–their creativity elicits laughter, brings joy to our hearts, and welcomes us home. We always look forward to spending time with the Cityscapes team.
