Cultivating Thriving Communities

Transplanted Outreach Initiatives

What is Transplanted?

Welcome to Transplanted, where plants and people grow together. From in-person retail experiences and charitable initiatives to hands-on educational plant parties, we leverage our expertise in horticulture and design to engage and activate our community. Join us in cultivating a thriving community of plant enthusiasts and nature lovers.

Our Charitable Plant Truck

A Roaming Greenhouse with a mission

We popup around the Boston area selling plants for charity. Invited by community stakeholders, we set up shop in new locations all the time. Profits from our sales on our Plant Truck go to charities chosen by our hosts.

How it works:

We are invited by businesses & property managers to set up shop on their property. Together we guarantee enough sales for a sizable donation at every popup!

transplanted step 1

1.

Contact our team to begin planning a Plant Truck Popup. We’ll talk locations & dates and all the details.

2.

Our team handles the entire event, we only need your help to secure parking. Let’s get plants to the people!

3.

We tally sales and send a donation on the behalf of our hosts and TransPlanted – donations made every time.

Guided Plant Parties

Networking, team building, tenant appreciation and more:

Whether you’re hosting at your location or visiting our shop, we provide everything you need for a hands-on planting workshop. Guests will create their own unique designs—choose from terrariums, moss frames, or seasonal arrangements.

What to expect:

We handle the logistics, you bring the people. From setup to cleanup, we’ve got it covered. Each event kicks off with a brief, engaging overview of the benefits of plants, followed by step-by-step guidance to help everyone build a thriving, personalized creation.

Shop Plants at Sprout

Brick & Mortar Retail

Find our team at Sprout

Cityscapes started as a retail shop and we’ve decided to get back to our roots and open a storefront. Here’s where we curate fun and colorful specimen for the plant lover of all abilities. Let Cityscapes take care of the office, while at Sprout you’ll find goods for home.

Improving Urban Spaces with Community-forward retail

We noticed a need for meaningful third places that expand beyond transactional retail. We work with property managers and building stakeholders to creating thoughtful environments meant to be enjoyed by all. Doing so helps connect our clients with the community.

Amanda is here to answer one of our most common questions: what plants can survive in low-light? Not to toot our own horn, but we have quite the variety at Sprout 😉🌱

An important tip when it comes to watering plants in lower-light conditions is that they may drink slower than plants in higher light! Always feel the soil for moisture before watering to avoid root-rot 💧

Did we mention your favorite 🪴? Comment below what your favorite low-light plant is!

Our mission with opening Sprout was to fill it—not just with plants, but with people and experiences. @sofarboston puts on intimate concerts in unique venues with a lineup of mystery artists, and we’re so excited to host this Saturday’s pop-up show! We share a community-rooted vision and hope people can come together in our space, leaving a little more connected 🌱

Tickets are linked in our bio. Use the code: SOFARSPACES15-BCC88 for 15% off. The plant shop will also be open to attendees during and after the show. Enjoy 10% off on us 😉🪴

Yes, our plant truck does private events (and they’re a hit!) 🪴 We popped up at the Exchange Center to serve guests the unique, engaging experience of picking out their own prepaid plant and pot. While we love our public pop-ups (more dates to come soon) these private gatherings bring moments of connection that are so special to us. 🌱✨

Testimonials

The best things about working at Cityscapes is the teamwork I experience daily, the relationships I have developed, and the fact that Cityscapes really cares about their employees. We also create an atmosphere together to improve our clients lives and our mission is to inspire and innovate with beautifully designed greenery.
Alex Masella, Employee 30 years / Service Administrator
Managing one of Boston’s more iconic buildings is no small feat. The responsibility of up-keeping greenery that is as beautiful as the architecture around us is huge. Having Cityscapes come and design our planting beds and maintain our greenery inside and out, has made my life a breeze. I know I can count on them to perform up to my standards, while keeping everything fresh and innovative.
Brookview serves mothers and children experiencing a grueling and challenging circumstance–homelessness. Jan Goodman and her Cityscapes volunteers always lift our spirits, and make our days delightful and enjoyable. Whether they are working with the moms and kids making crafts and decorations for holidays, planting a vegetable garden, or doing exterior landscaping–their creativity elicits laughter, brings joy to our hearts, and welcomes us home. We always look forward to spending time with the Cityscapes team.
Deborah Hughes, CEO / Brookview
